Company Profile

Steel Fab was established in Canada in 1933 and became a division of Samuel Manu-Tech Inc. on May 18, 1988. All manufacturing today takes place in Abingdon, Virginia. This facility has CNC plate rolling, CNC punching and plasma cutting, welding, painting and other equipment for handling fabrication of carbon steel generally under 1" in thickness.

Steel Fab is one of the largest manufacturers of ASME industrial pressure vessels for the air compressor industry in North America. The company has a major distribution centre in Oakville, Ontario to
serve the Canadian market.

Our company manufactures both small high volume production line tanks and larger specialty vessels. There are three production lines serving the small tanks and one large production area for the specialty tanks. The main industry served is the compressed air industry in both Canada and the USA. Specialty tanks are also produced for the metal stamping press industry where Steel Fab is a major supplier to Japanese stamping press manufacturers. We have recently added a new production line specifically designed to produce industrial air receivers from 42" diameter to 60" diameter.

Years of reliable customer service has given us the reputation we are known for in the industry.
